New Student Enrollment

The new student application for families who are new to Yuma Lutheran School will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on March 2, 2026. Applicants are required to upload a copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and, for students entering grades 1–8, the most recent report card.

Current family re-enrollment will begin at 9:00 a.m. on January 26th. Families will log in to their Facts Family Portal to re-enroll each student. 

Christ Lutheran Church members may enroll during the current family enrollment window. Please contact the school office for more information.

Yuma Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, religion, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and/or athletic and other school-administered programs.

GENDER IDENTITY POLICY
Yuma Lutheran School supports the Biblical position of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, which says that God created man in His own image, and He created them, male and female. Based on this, Yuma Lutheran School defines males and females according to their biological sex at birth. 

ENROLLMENT AND ADMISSION
Admission requirements and guidelines are published online each year. Yuma Lutheran School strives to adhere to all State of Arizona guidelines relating to age and/or other school enrollment requirements.

ENROLLMENT AGE REQUIREMENTS
Pre-Kindergarten: The child must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year. The child must be toilet trained. 

Kindergarten: The child must be five years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year.

First Grade: The child must be six years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year, or complete a year of Kindergarten.

Returning Student Enrollment
• A completed online enrollment form must be submitted along with the non-refundable enrollment fee.
• Applicants who are not citizens of the United States will be processed according to current Homeland Security requirements.
• A copy of the Arizona State Immunization Form (Blue form) must be updated.

 

  • New Student Applications
    • An application for enrollment must be fully completed and submitted online. The non-refundable application fee must be paid at that time.
    • A copy of the most recent report card.
  • • A copy of up-to-date immunization records.
  • • All applicants must submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Applicants who are not citizens of the United States will be processed according to current Homeland Security requirements.
    • The school will determine the need for an interview with the child and or parent based on the information provided.
    • Proficiency/Readiness tests will be required.

Once accepted to Yuma Lutheran School, you will be notified. An online enrollment form will be completed at that time to gather additional information.
