Community

Yuma Lutheran School is a full engagement community. Our students’ enriched education is made possible by the dedicated participation of our parents, teachers and school leaders working together.

Parents are an integral force in the day-to-day activities of Yuma Lutheran School. Whether it’s helping in the classroom, overseeing lunch or library, serving on boards, or helping with fundraisers and social activities, parents are present in our school every day. As a member of this community, your time, treasure, and talents are all warmly welcomed.

PTO
The PTO is a vital part of our success. In addition to coordinating fundraising efforts such as the Fall Fundraiser and the Rummage Sale, the PTO hosts a variety of social events that foster engagement among our community. Annual highlights include the Fall Festival, the Spring BBQ, and the Father/Daughter Ball.

Church Community
Our school also benefits from participating in events hosted by the Christ Lutheran Church Community, which include picnics, golf outings, weekly worship services, and Advent/Lenten soup suppers. In addition, church outreach programs enable our students to participate in community service opportunities.
