Yuma Lutheran School’s library is being updated!
Our fiction section is categorized by reading levels, enabling students to choose books that correspond with our Accelerated Reading program. A separate section of our library contains easy reader selections for our younger students. With the implementation of our new automated catalog system, the students are able to search for books by title, author, subject or key word. In addition, students at Yuma Lutheran have access to our library’s extensive reference section.
Each class is scheduled for library time each week. During this time, parent volunteers assist the students in choosing reading materials that are both age appropriate and at their reading level.
