Yuma Lutheran students have access to a variety of technology resources
iPads
A set of 45 iPads are stored in a cart that any classroom can check out for whole group learning. iPads are always in use by a class at all times. In addition, grades PreK-2 have a class set of iPad Minis. These class sets are used in centers and for individualized instruction.
Chrome Books
We have recently purchased 2 carts with Chrome Books. These are mainly used in grades 4-8. Students in these classes are being introduced to Google Classroom where each child has their own school account. Students are learning how to use the Google Tools to create documents, presentations and are learning how to digitally use the "Cloud' to store their information. They are also learning about collaboration and team building as they work in groups on a project.
Laptops
As classroom teachers request, laptops are also available for classroom use.
