"Our family has been overwhelmingly pleased and sincerely blessed to have been welcomed into the YLS family. With four kids between preschool and 4th grade and multiple military moves, we have experienced a wide spectrum of schools. YLS is hands down the best experience we have had to date and we would be thrilled to have all of our kids here through the 8th grade.
From the love of Mrs. Schiller (the principal) who sat down on the gym floor with our preschooler after drop off because he was upset, to virtually the entire staff knowing all of our kids by name within weeks, this is a welcoming and truly nurturing environment and the education is second to none we have known. The kids are flourishing with immersive faith, values, music and academics.
The school’s handling of all things COVID has been phenomenal when compared to peers nation wide. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to say that our children have been learning in the classroom with real live teachers (great ones at that) and their classmates, 5 days a week, for the entire 2020/21 school year thus far (as of 20 Nov) and they have done so in an environment of safety and as much normalcy as practical.
